One of the top Senior High Schools in the country, Adisadel College, often referred to as Adisco has reportedly given a stern warning to Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, to stop referring to himself as an alumnus of the prestigious school.
In addition, the school is prepared to offer the embattled businessman a whopping Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵100) if he pays heed to the request.
According to the headmaster of the school, Mr. Samuel Agudogo, the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and the Board of Governors have consistently raised concerns about NAM1 calling himself a Santaclausian at the least given opportunity.
He said even though the Chief Executive Officer of the defund gold dealership and investment firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited, once schooled there, the school cannot associate itself with him anymore due to his stained reputation.
“Adisadel College has produced some of the finest minds that the country has ever witnessed over the past years. In view of this, we have gained an enviable reputation across the length and breadth of this country. We cannot sit idle for Nana Appiah Mensah to soil that hard-earned image. We have to guard it with all our might,” Mr. Agudogo remarked.

According to him, Nana Appiah Mensah has been parading himself as an old student of the noble institution claiming that his ‘success’ as an entrepreneur is rooted in the high quality education he received from the institution some years back. He said, the Board of Governors and the PTA of Adisadel College are highly concerned and worried because Ghanaians see NAM1 as a ‘fraudster’ and a ‘confident trickster.’
The headmaster averred that it is due to this that the school has decided to expunge his name from their records and provide him with compensation on the condition that he refrains from identifying himself as a Santaclausian.
“We have invited him over to officially come and sign an affidavit renouncing his affiliation with the school. Our legal team will be here to guide him through the process. If he does not show up by the end of the month, we will go ahead and erase his name from our records,” Mrs. Theresa Boateng, a member of the Board of Governors stated.
It’s however not certain whether NAM1 will pay heed to his alma mater’s call, collect the GH₵100 and relinquish his Adisco Old Boys Association membership or not.
