Amid the ongoing drama surrounding Yvonne Nelson’s explosive memoir, ‘I am Not Yvonne Nelson,’ the actress’ mother, Margaret Gaddy, is reportedly teaming up with musician Iyanya to tell their sides of the story.
Her decision to drop a track comes after rapper Sarkodie released a song earlier today to share his version of what ensued between himself and the Ghanaian actress.
Titled ‘A Misunderstood Mother,’ the song aims to shed light on the untold stories of the narrative that Ghanaians have been eagerly awaiting.
According to a close source, Yvonne Nelson’s mother, who has been portrayed as a deceitful figure in her daughter’s book, wants to set the record straight and reveal the real reasons behind her actions. The source, who wishes to remain anonymous, says Mrs. Margaret Gaddy is pained and angry at her daughter’s actions – reason why she is recruiting Iyanya for the song.

“Yvonne’s mom contacted Iyanya to listen to his side of the story. She realized how insincere her daughter had been. She then suggested to Iyanya that they do a song together to tell their versions of the story. Since Yvonne’s mom is not a musician, she asked Iyanya to coach her. Iyanya has finished writing the lyrics, and they are yet to commence the recording process,” the source disclosed.
In another anticipated track, Iyanya is said to go solo, aiming to refute Yvonne Nelson’s claims about his infidelity. His song allegedly carries a strong message of denial and self-defense, countering the actress’s accusations.
As the anticipation builds, it’s clear that the song will be a wild ride of unexpected confessions. Only time will tell whether the song will finally bring closure to this complicated story or only add more confusion.
One thing is, however, certain that this collaboration will be the talk of the town for weeks to come, providing a much-needed dose of entertainment and laughter amid the chaos.
